I found some interesting information about the M-82 “GAME SELECTABLE WORKING PRODUCT DISPLAY” used for in store displays in the 80s and 90s. What makes the M-82 really special? Well according to nesworld.com, most M82 units were returned to Bergsala to be destroyed when shops stopped selling NES games.

Lol, I have one of those things, and to this day it works great! Kept it in pretty good condition too.
