Gamebooster is a cool little utility that automatically shuts off a predetermined list of services that are useless when gaming. System services can use a lot of resources and will likely be a burden on older systems. This is another great tool for those who are prolonging the inevitable upgrade to a newer system. That said, I really don’t feel a difference on my own box, but I tend to keep it pretty lean anyway.
Description:
Designed to help optimize your PC for smoother, more responsive game play in the latest PC games with the touch of a button, Game Booster helps achieve the performance edge previously only available to highly technical enthusiasts. It works by temporarily shutting down background processes, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance.
