CoD4 Extensive Benchmark Pt. 1

First a little basic info:

I started by setting “Optimal Settings” to reset my cfg then adjusted the graphics settings in-game. I quit and relaunched CoD between each benchmark, and rebooted between each BIOS setting change. I used the latest CCC available (9.11) as of this post and all of my other drivers are up to date as well. I tested Game Booster 1.3 once here, but it seems to be less effective than 1.2 since it no longer reduces Windows 7 to “Basic” color scheme.

Here’s the settings I used for “Max”.

And here are the settings used for “Min”.

All benchmarks were in fullscreen mode unless otherwise noted by “(win)”. I used r_fullscreen 0 and vid_restart to change that setting.

Each benchmark was taken from mp_overgrown on a local listen server. I basically ran around the map shooting and throwing nades in the same path and pattern for each run. I know its not exactly scientific, but I feel it gives a slightly better idea of what to expect during actual gameplay.
