I made these icons for Vista because I noticed that the originals didn’t scale well and looked like trash at 1920×1080. I include both PNG and ICO files that should work with most dock apps as well as many icon managers (including Vista’s built in icon changing method).
These are Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Licensed, meaning you may copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt them as long as you attribute the work in a manner you are comfortable with.

Gamebooster is a cool little utility that automatically shuts off a predetermined list of services that are useless when gaming. System services can use a lot of resources and will likely be a burden on older systems. This is another great tool for those who are prolonging the inevitable upgrade to a newer system. That said, I really don’t feel a difference on my own box, but I tend to keep it pretty lean anyway.
